Artist talk: Tsar B

Three distinct artists, each forging their own path, share their personal stories and industry experiences. They will discuss their growth, the hurdles they faced, key breakthroughs, and their absolute best & worst practices.

Tsar B

Justine Bourgeus, better known as TSAR B, is a Belgian musician, composer, producer, and classically trained violinist. Drawing from her classical background, she has built a unique musical universe where baroque and classical traditions meet electronic beats, pop, R&B, and club culture. Her work also frequently bridges multiple disciplines, including film, dance, and fashion.

Her music represents a continuous dialogue between different eras, styles, and expressions—ranging from violin and orchestral arrangements to dark electronics and contemporary production.

During this artist talk, she will discuss bringing classical music into a modern context, how her classical roots shape her artistic language, why genres shouldn't be boundaries, and how to draw inspiration from the classics to create something entirely contemporary.

This artist talk will be hosted by Esther Nwanu.
