Artist Talk: Chuki Beats / Osayuki

Three distinct artists, each forging their own path, share their personal stories and industry experiences. They will discuss their growth, the hurdles they faced, key breakthroughs, and their absolute best & worst practices.

Chuki Beats / Osayuki

Osayuki Asemota, better known as Chuki Beats, built a career from his bedroom to become one of the most prominent Belgian producers of the internet generation. In Brussels, he became the go-to producer for artists like Zwangere Guy, Frenetik, and YG Pablo, earning a series of gold and platinum records along the way. Through his own label, 32WORLDWIDE, he also put emerging talents like Yung Mavu and Dina Ayada on the map.

Under his first name, OSAYUKI, he trades his role behind the scenes for that of frontman and musician, bringing together raw guitars, rock, punk, and hip-hop into a distinct new sound.

These two identities serve as the starting point for this artist talk. How do you balance different artistic sides of yourself? When do you build a persona, and when do you let it go? Do you even need to pick a single direction as an artist? Drawing from his own journey, Osayuki talks about experimenting, evolving, growing, and the freedom to let multiple versions of yourself coexist.

This artist talk will be hosted by Esther Nwanu.
